The High Efficiency Stream Protocol (HESP) is an adaptive HTTP based video streaming protocol which brings superior quality of experience for online viewers, while reducing the cost for scaling media delivery up to 20%. HESP enables sub-second end-to-end latency, as low as 400ms. And with zapping, start-up and seeking times well under 100ms, it achieves experiences better than existing broadcast solutions.
